There were times I never thought I would finish this month's piece. I wanted to do something that reflected the cruise I went on recently. But the beads did not always talk to me , and they asked to be rearranged several times. Boy can they be bossy!

Love your page. It just seems to flow like the ocean does. Where did you find the tiny starfish? What a perfect touch.

Very pretty mandala.
Winter is certainly doing it's best to hang on.
It DOES flow, like the sea, foam and all...gorgeous!!! Where did you get the starfish beads? And are the shells real? I couldn't even tell from the enlarged version. I love your shape... makes me wonder about round for my shape next time...
By the way, check my blog for a "test" regarding archetypal shapes/symbols. In a couple of days "the circle" will be revealed.
Your snow picture is beautiful... but brrrrrr. We had snow the last two days too (unusual for west coast this time of year), but today it melted. Spring is back for us... hope it comes soon for you.

Thanks for your comments. I bought the starfish at a local beadshop, Stony Creek Beads (if you look them up they have a blog). I bought them while I was working on this piece, so they were a nice surprise. The shells are actually buttons, but they do look real, don't they?
I love it Susan, from the curling waves to the shells & starfish - It's totally delightful!!
Susan, this is so lovely. It sets a wonderful mood with its rhythym and colors!

Wow! Your piece is great -- I've a long long way to go still w/ my beading .... and with catching up w/ my BJPs ... but I'm getting there. Thanks for visiting my blog too.
You're right. Sometimes the beads do seem pretty bossy but the page looks better when we listen to them doesn't it?
Love your page.
VERY nice, Susan... ! I love how your pieces move all by themselves.
Guess I'd better get busy too, listening to those beads.
I love your work, your pages and the mandalas you drew with magic markers. I am a Pisces too so I love water in our pages!
I love this piece. It very much reflects your cruise. The colors and starfish are perfect. I live in MN and we are suppose to get snow tomorrow. But...there are bulbs coming up and Robins are here so we are on the home stretch. Julie Cook
Makes me want to go to the sea. I also was impressed by the headache piece.
